RADIO Player Pro

Broadcast automation system: scheduled playback, retransmission of external sources, ad insertion by DTMF cue tones, multi-level failover on signal loss. Multiple sound card support, metadata export to RDS encoders and Shoutcast servers.

Built-in decoding of WAV, MP3, FLAC, OGG, WMA, APE, and AC3. DSP plugin support for audio processing. Reads ID3, Ogg, WMA, and FLAC tags. Playlist import from PowerGold, Digiton, and Trakt.

Key capabilities

• Broadcast scheduling. Playlists tied to date and time. Multiple parallel schedules with priority levels.
• Program priorities. News, ads, and music blocks air according to a defined program clock. The software enforces priorities and does not skip mandatory segments.
• Retransmission with ad insertion. DTMF cue tone detection during head station relay and automatic insertion of local ad blocks.
• Multi-level failover. On primary source loss, the system switches to a backup: line input, stream, or local playlist. Configurable backup source chain.
• Multiple sound cards. Simultaneous playback to the on-air card and monitoring outputs. Signal input from line in, digital in, and Shoutcast streams.
• Auto-jingles and hotkeys. Automatic jingle insertion between tracks, by time interval, or after a set number of songs. Manual jingle and ad triggering via assignable hotkeys.
• Audio processing via DSP. External DSP module support for EQ, compression, and normalization.
• Formats and tags. Decoding of WAV, MP3, WMA, FLAC, OGG, APE, and AC3. Reads ID3, Ogg, WMA, and FLAC metadata for display and export.
• Event log. Log of played and skipped files, errors, and system events.
• Security and notifications. Password-protected access. Automatic email alerts on playout status and errors.
• Audio settings. Volume level, cue-in and cue-out points per file or group. Silence detector for automatic track boundary detection.
• Playlist import. PowerGold, Digiton, and Trakt format support.
• RDS and Shoutcast. Track title and artist export to RDS encoders and Shoutcast servers.
