Regulators require radio stations to maintain broadcast recordings. Advertisers request proof of performance. Aircheck analysis needs actual broadcast data, not scheduled playlists. RADIO Logger Pro provides continuous recording with automatic archiving and configurable retention periods.
The software records audio to disk in WAV, MP3, AAC, OGG, or FLAC formats. The archive is organized by date and time — any segment is accessible in a few clicks. Automatic deletion of outdated recordings based on your retention policy.
Key capabilities:
- Continuous recording. The software runs in the background and captures audio without gaps. Every block is saved to the archive with a date and time stamp — no manual file searching.
- Archive log. Chronological list of all recordings with date filtering. Select the segment you need and hit play.
- Block size. Configurable from 1 minute to 24 hours. Short blocks provide precise navigation through the archive, longer blocks suit continuous archiving without breaks.
- Compression formats. MP3, FLAC, AAC, and OGG with adjustable bitrate. Uncompressed WAV recording is available when bit-accurate capture of the source signal is required.
- Compression on/off. Enable or disable independently for each recording channel. Compression saves disk space, uncompressed recording preserves original quality.
- Retention period. Archived recordings are deleted automatically after a specified number of days. The disk won't fill up, no manual cleanup required.
- Recording playback. Select a segment by date, time, and duration. Play it back directly in the application — for aircheck review, incident investigation, and report preparation.
Radio stations use RADIO Logger Pro to meet regulatory requirements, verify ad playout, and analyze broadcast quality. The software runs unattended: configure recording parameters and retention policy — the archive manages itself.
